Signs Are Not the Road

I think of emotions as being like signs. They warn us of the condition of the road. They give us insight into the decisions we have to make, like which way to turn and how far we have to go. The biggest mistake I think that people make is to confuse the signs with the road or the journey.

What About My Daughters

I have always repudiated any philosophy that is based on a victim posture. This idea that women are frail, inferior, and in need of male protection is the most odious philosophy I can think of in terms of damage to women. I raised strong children who can make their own decisions and deal with the consequences of those decisions.
