Paco is a full-blooded chihuahua. We haven't weighed him. We're fairly
certain it wouldn't show on the scale. Don't let his size fool you, though.
His sharp teeth and ferocious demeanor will have you in stitches. In our
house, Paco is the boss, either directly or indirectly. His favorite flunky
was our 100-pound+ black lab, Buck. There's no
question which had the dominant personality. Buck was too sweet to really
care much. They were fun to watch play together. True to chihuahua form,
Paco doesn't like visitors much, but he warms up faster than most chis,
probably due to the sweet disposition of his masters. Notice the black
background in this photo? That's Buck.
After an appropriate grieving period, we had to get Paco some new
large canines to boss around. We went to the Humane Society and adopted Buddy
and Toby. Buddy is a black lab/chow mix. You never saw so much hair! Toby is a Catahoulan Leopard Dog. Paco is still large and in charge, well, at least in charge.
