In the summer of 2001, the young men of the Grant Butte ward took a week-long bike trip along the Oregon Coast. My three sons, Stephen, Thomas, and Alexander were there, and I got to go along and drive a motor home. At Cape Perpetua, all of the boys and their leaders went to the top of the cape and left me to mind thier bikes. While I was waiting there, a man asked me what I was doing there with all of the bikes. After I gave him a flippant answer, he told me he was a reporter for a local newspaper. He asked me a few questions and produced this article. |
